THE MSU-IIT HIGH SCHOOL SEARCH FOR OUTSTANDING ALUMNI
on its 7th year…

Calling all MSU-IIT Alumni from 1946 to 2011…

Initially launched by DHS Batch ‘79 to recognize the alumni who would serve as ambassadors of their Alma Mater, the search bestows honor to all alumni of MSU-IIT High School (IHS/LTS/DHS/IDS) in recognition of their outstanding achievements in their fields of specialization and their exemplary contributions to the community.

Ten (10) areas identified for the awards:

  1. Agriculture (All fields such as Farming, Fishing, Animal Husbandry)
  2. Arts (In all fields)
  3. Business/ Entrepreneurship (Regardless of size)
  4. Education (Regardless of level)
  5. Legal Arts (Lawyers in any specialization and Paralegal)
  6. Medical Arts (Doctors in any specialization, Medical related Professionals and Paramedics)
  7. Public Service (Government and Non-Government Employees)
  8. Science and Technology  (Scientists, Technicians, Engineers)
  9. Selfless Nobility (Performed heroic acts)
  10. Sports (In all fields)

The search bestows honor to all alumni of MSU-IIT High School (Iligan High School, Lanao Technical School, Developmental High School and Integrated Developmental School). It is a recognition of the achievements of the alumni in their fields of specialization and their exemplary contributions to the community. The search for outstanding alumni aims to recognize and promote alumni who would serve as ambassadors of the Alma Mater.

Eligibility and Requirements

The search is open to all living alumni from batch 1946 to 2011.

Application Form, resume or curriculum vitae with authenticated photocopies of supporting documents (certificates, plaques, pictures, passport size photo of the nominee, etc.) must be submitted to the Awards Committee care of the Office of the Principal (IDS) or Guidance Office of the Integrated Developmental School (IDS) or Admissions Office, MSUIIT, Tibanga, Iligan City on December 2, 2011. Electronic copy of these documents may also be submitted through email to: jbmagallanes@gmail.com or admissions@g.msuiit.edu.ph.

Criteria for Evaluation

Criteria Description Rate
Credentials Achievement in one’s field and exemplary contribution to the community 50.00%
Personal Qualities Good role model of morality and integrity both in public and private life and with good human relations in the workplace and community. 30.00%
Peer Evaluation Background checking 20.00%

The Search Process

The batch selects its nominee(s) for the different areas and must be favorably endorsed by the Executive Council/President/(at least 3 Batch Representatives) of the corresponding batch. The Awards Committee evaluates and verifies the credentials and will conduct background checking of the qualifications of those who passed the preliminary evaluation. Judges will rate and select the awardees in the final phase of the selection.
