THE MSU-IIT HIGH SCHOOL SEARCH FOR OUTSTANDING ALUMNI
(Sponsored by Batch ’82 in Cooperation with the MSU-IIT High School Alumni Association)

GUIDELINES

ABOUT THE SEARCH

The search bestows honor to all alumni of MSU-IIT High School which was formerly the Iligan High School, Lanao Technical School, Developmental High School and now the Integrated Developmental School. It is a recognition of the achievements of the alumni in their fields of specialization and their exemplary contribution to the community.

This Search for Outstanding Alumni 2008 is initially launched by Batch ’79 of the Developmental High School to promote the alumni who would serve as ambassador of their Alma Mater. Hence, this search must be institutionalized.

Ten (10) areas are identified for the awards.

  1. Agriculture (All fields such as Farming, Fishing, Animal Husbandry)
  2. Arts (In all  fields)
  3. Business/ Entrepreneurship (Regardless of size)
  4. Education (Regardless of level)
  5. Legal Arts (Lawyers in any specialization and paralegal)
  6. Medical Arts (Doctors in any specialization, medical related Professionals and Paramedics)
  7. Public Service (Government and Non-Government Employees)
  8. Science and Technology  (Scientists, Technicians, Engineers)
  9. Selfless Nobility (Performed heroic acts)
  10. Sports (In all fields)

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?

The Search is open to all alumni since 1946 to 2008 except from the batch sponsoring the Grand Alumni Homecoming.

THE SEARCH PROCESS

Nomination: The batch selects its nominees, one for each area. The nomination must be officially endorsed and signed by a required minimum number of batch mates.

1946-50 - One (1) alumnus will endorse one (1) candidate
1951-60 - Five (5) alumni will endorse one (1) candidate
1961- 2008 - Ten (10) alumni will endorse one (1) candidate

Nomination form together with photocopies of credentials authenticated by the issuing office, must be sent to the office of the IDS Principal not later than December 5, 2008. Also include one (1) copy of 3R picture in your application.

Preliminary Evaluation:  The Search Committee evaluates the nomination forms and verifies credentials.
Semi-Final Round: The Search Committee members will conduct a background check of the qualifications of those who passed the preliminary evaluation. Their morality and integrity will be investigated and they must have no criminal and administrative charge/s filed against them. Their relationship with peers in the work places and people in the community must be considered.
Final Round: Only three (3) finalists from each field will undergo an interview by experts in their field of specialization.

Important Dates To Remember:

December 5, 2008 (5:00 PM) - Deadline for submission of Nomination form with attached photocopies of credentials.
December 12, 2008 - Preliminary Judging
December 17, 2008 - Final Judging
December 22, 2008 - Notification of Awardees
December 28, 2008 - Announcement of awardees
December 28, 2008 - Awarding of Outstanding Alumni during the Grand Alumni Homecoming
