Project Title: Development of a Reversed Vending Machine with Integrated Rewards System using Object Detection for Campus Waste Management Application

Duration: 9 months 

Salary: Php15,208.80/month

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications or any related computing degree programs
  • Preferably with experience as research assistant / technology development related to computer vision
  • Has background on research writing and methods
  • Has background on programming (preferably on C, C++, and Python languages
  • Assists the project leader in performing and completing up the research
  • Assists on the manuscript completion
  • Assists the project leader in keeping track of the results of the research
  • Assists in meetings, experiments, and other activities
  • Assists in the preparation of progress/accomplishment reports
  • Prepares communications, financial documents (TO, DV, PR, JOR, etc)
  • Performs other tasks related to the project as assigned by the Project Leader
  • Discuss with the Project Leader the progress of the research every three (3) weeks
