Position: Design & Communications Supervisor
Reports to: The General Manager

Position Responsibilities:

Direct the company’s design projects including new media relations, graphic design, collateral materials, website content and firm identity program.

Main responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact or gatekeeper of company’s graphic and marketing projects – from conceptualization, development, delivery, revisions and/or updates.
• Interpret client graphic design needs;
• Maintain listings, revisions and inventory of all client collateral materials including practice area profiles, firm profiles, and firm brochures;
• Keep track of all deliverables- monitor the status of the projects and make sure all the deadlines are met;
• Lead the company’s external communications efforts including:
• Concept, write, prepare and place company print advertisements.
• Develop all information content of company website including regular updates of company pages and addition of links to/from site.
• Assist write-ups and placement of articles in newspapers, business and trade publications and on web pages.
• Maintain company identity files ("facebook").
• Maintain the company clipping and historical files.

Employment Standards

Education:
Graduate of any four year course required, preferably major in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or Fine Arts.

Experience:
Minimum of three years experience in new media communications and marketing services preferred.

Required skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptionally good in writing business correspondence, proposals and presentations.

Special Skills:
Polished presentation and interpersonal skills required for representing the company in diverse clients and environment. Knowledge of various Graphic Design applications a plus factor.
